Silicone has excellent heat resistance, low temperature elasticity, especially excellent 

oxidation and ozone resistance, air permeability and good electrical insulation performance.

Silicone is water resistant, but water vapor resistance is not good, pressure over 50PSI is 

not recommended to use.General silicone rubber acid and alkaline resistance, solvent resistance 

is not resistant to aromatic oils, not recommended for most concentrated solvents.Special silicone 

also has radiation resistance, fire resistance, oil resistance and other properties.In addition, 

the tensile strength of silica gel is low, wear resistance is weak, generally not used for dynamic 

seal.
